Giving Thanks

My "shows" on the riverwalk are great occasions for people watching. There is a great diversity of age and ethnicity to observe. Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio is the training base for all Air Force recruits and I believe they must have a graduating class every week because the seven times a year I do a show there, it seems there is another graduating class spending time on the river with family who have come to witness the occasion. I observed a touching scene this past weekend in which a lady was grasping and shaking the hand of all men and women in uniform she met who were coming from the opposite direction. She gave them a sincere "Thank You" . I thought this to be a touching scene and would like to applaud her.
